Month: January 2013
For Christmas, Emmy (10) and Ava (5) both received iPhone 4s, which they use as iPods.
Ava, being the little genius she is, figured out how to put her apps in to folders and label them.
While Em was away at school, Ava (who apparently knows Em’s passcode), got in to her phone and reorganized all of her sister’s mobile apps in to folders. The best part? She labeled all the folders “Emily”.
What a genius practical joke, especially from a 5 year old!
…..which reminds me. I need to go change my passcode. 🙂
Ava was helping me put away her laundry, when she said, “Dad, my PAIANCE (pronounced pa-ee-ance) go here.”
“What?”, I said.
Ava repeated, “My PAIANCE go here.”
“What?”, I repeated.
Ava pointing, “My PAIANCE! Here!”
“Oh….your pants. Got it.”
“That’s what I said.” Ava quipped in an exasperated tone.
I love raising southern girls. 🙂
It’s been a busy busy back half of the year and before we knew it…. 2013 was here!
As we are working through our own resolutions and plans for the year, I can tell you that we plan to pick up blogging more. It was so enjoyable to read back over the year to re-live the great experiences, funny stories, and crazy quips from the kids.
Stay tuned! There’s more to come for Jackson Family Life in 2013!
We wish you and your family a blessed and joyous 2013!
Here’s a few highlights from this last year:
